Suvarnabhumi is a giant single terminal with a new satellite (SAT-1) reached by an automated train. It is busy and long, but transfers are straightforward, lounges are plentiful (Priority Pass coverage is excellent), and the Airport Rail Link reaches the city in 30 minutes. Don Mueang (DMK) is the separate low-cost airport — check which one you're using.
01Connections
Same concourse: 60 min. Involving SAT-1: 75–90 min (train). Bags are usually checked through on one ticket; separate tickets need 3h (immigration is slow).
Airlines publish legal minimums per terminal pair; these figures are our comfortable recommendation, not the legal minimum. Verify with your airline for your specific itinerary.
